An orthodontist who’s more than just a typical orthodontist
Dr. Sydlewski is not only licensed as an orthodontist, she’s also a medical doctor. This means that she has four years of medical school education beyond what most orthodontists have, and six years of doctoral level education beyond what general dentists have. In addition, she has undergraduate background in Speech Pathology and Audiology.
These qualifications are important, because orthodontic problems can have many levels of complexity. The orthodontic care Dr. Sydlewski provides takes into consideration not only the teeth and how they are aligned, but also palette and jaw position, growth patterns in the face, speech, and related medical issues.
