 Meet Dr. Wendy SydlewskiDr. Wendy Sydlewski has always known she wanted to make a positive impact in people's lives. Creating beautiful, signature smiles has become her passion. It is her genuine compassion towards people and her drive toward excellence in orthodontics that allows her to provide a caring and trusting environment in her office. After studying Speech Pathology and Audiology at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and Civil Engineering in the Air National Guard, Dr. Wendy Sydlewski attended the University of Minnesota Dental School and received her DDS with honors in 1991. She graduated from the top of her dental school class and earned the Minnesota Association of Orthodontic Achievement Award along with many academic achievement awards. She completed her certification in orthodontics at the University of Minnesota in 1993. Dr. Sydlewski began practicing orthodontics in the Twin Cities area and was a part-time associate faculty member in the orthodontic residency program. In addition, Dr. Sydlewski later advanced her education by attending the University of Minnesota Medical School, and graduating at the top of her medical school class in 2004. Her advanced training and education has allowed Dr. Sydlewski a more thorough understanding of the overall health and wellness of her patients and complements her orthodontic training. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics. When she's away from the office, Dr. Sydlewski enjoys spending time with her family, becoming active in her young children's lives and activities, and playing golf. |
